General Motors wants to take their updated GMC models to the next "Professional" level. Not only will the company continue producing family vehicles like the GMC Yukon Denali (a Kenny Powers favorite) but they'll also increase concentration on utility vehicles.
GMC has been using the tagline "We are professional grade" for several years. But many want more from the GMC's pickup truck line.
Mark Reuss, GM president of North America, says GM has used a "two-brand approach to trucks, to take on our competition that has one." But the strategy hasn't been executed well, he says.
