GMC Premiering Throughout India

India residents will soon receive the GMC Sierra line of trucks in their country. GM is sending the Sierra HD to the Dubai International Motor Show next month.

GMC September Sales Trumped

General Motors posted a twenty percent gain in sales for September 2011, when compared to last year. Leading the pack is trustworthy GMC - which witnessed huge sales figures of its own this past month thanks to pickups and crossovers.

GMC's growth of 28% in September 2011 is a huge improvement over 2010. GMC Yukon was a top model, seeing a growth of 67% for the XL, and over 44% for the base. The all new GMC Terrain came in with 44.7% higher numbers in September as well.

GMC Terrain Will Be American Made

The GMC Terrain is moving to the South, as General Motors is moving the construction of their crossover to the Spring Hill, Nashville plant. Vehicles from this plant help fill lots at Saint Johnsbury GMC - 500 Memorial Drive, Saint Johnsbury, VT, though operations have been idle for some time.

Next-Gen GMC Sierra 2013 Debut

Fear not truck enthusiasts: GMC has not forgotten about you, and neither have we at [Dealer Name]. It may seem as though trucks like the GMC Sierra have been lacking attention from General Motors, but we assure you this is about to change. GMC Idles Sierra Production

A little bit of sad news for GMC truck fans - and for the GMC Sierra, currently available at Saint Johnsbury Buick GMC - 500 Memorial Drive, Saint Johnsbury, VT. GM has announced idling at the plants which produces their large pickup trucks.

Citing declining sales over the past months, General Motors said they will slow production at the Flint, MI and Fort Wayne, Indiana plants starting July 4th. Over 5000 employees work between both locations. This is only a temporary ceasing of construction.

General Motors wants to take their updated GMC models to the next "Professional" level. Not only will the company continue producing family vehicles like the GMC Yukon Denali (a Kenny Powers favorite) but they'll also increase concentration on utility vehicles.

GMC has been using the tagline "We are professional grade" for several years. But many want more from the GMC's pickup truck line.
