How would you feel if you knew a specially trained Advisor would be around to help the instant a crash occurred? Automatic Crash Response is right there - all the time - to make sure you get real help if you ever need it. From a real person.  Really fast.

Upon impact, built in sensors automatically alert an OnStar Advisor of your specific critical details, such as the type and severity of your crash and your exact GPS location.  And just as quickly, the Advisor relays this information to emergency responders so they're better prepared to help you the moment they arrive on the scene.

Perhaps more important, if you're unconscious or unable to communicate, an OnStar Advisor will respond for you and request help be sent right away.

Emergency Services
- Emergency Services lets you press the red Emergency button to contact an OnStar Advisor who   
       will alert fire, police or medical personnel - 24/7 -  You need help.  And you need it now.  We're 
       ready to answer the call. Anytime.  Press the red button, and you'll get a priority connection to a
       specially trained Advisor who will contact the appropriate emergency provider and guide them right
       to your location.
- Crisis Assist delivers information should a natural disaster occur
       If there is a natural disaster, we'll follow the news and relay evacuation routes and the locations of
       other critical services, such as shelters, food, water, open gas stations and more.  We'll even help
       connect you with your family.
- Use OnStar to be a Good Samaritan when others need assistance.
       If you witness a problem on the road or have information related to an AMBER Alert, push the red
       Emergency button to report it.  We'll relay the information to the proper authorities or send help.
- With First Assist, Advisors are trained to offer critical assistance until medical help arrives.
       With this new feature, a calm voice will offer potentially lifesaving assistance until medical help
       arrives.  Advisors are specially trained to help people dealing with choking , breathing problems,
       childbirth or other emergencies.

Listen: We'll talk you through it.  With a simple push of a button, an Advisor downloads your destination via OnStar and an automated voice calls out every turn along the way.  No need to enter an address; it's all done for you.

Look: Let us show you how to get there - right on your vehicle's navigation screen.  With Destination Download, you can program and send destinations directly to your navigation screen using eNav or youc an push your blue OnStar button and ask the Advisor to download directions to the screen-based navigation system in your car.  there's never a need to pull over to search for directions or to stop and enter the location.  It's the fastest, simplest way to program destinations into your navigation system.
 
eNav forwards your Google Maps or MapQuest destination to your car.  Then simply call out the saved location when you're ready to get where you're going.

Go online and you;re on your way.  It;s fast and easy to get the directions you need delivered directly to your vehicle.  First, go either Google Maps or MapQuest and enter your destination.  Next, for Google Maps, click "send" in the directions result, then select "car" in the pop-up window.  For MapQuest choose "send" from the drop-down menu and then select "send to OnStar".  Once you're in your vehicle, press the Hands-Free Calling button and say "Virtual Advisor." Listen to the simple prompts, and youa re on your way.

Security Services

Stolen Vehicle Assistance Having your car stolen can make you angry, but it doesn't have to leave you
     helpless.  Just call 1.888.4.ONSTAR and an Advisor can connect you to the police and use GPS
     technology to connect you to the police and use GPS technology to help police locate your vehicle. 
     The authorities are updated on you car's location, and we continue working with them to help get it
     back.  Case closed - life rolls on.

Stolen Vehicle Slowdown This industry-exclusive enhancement to Stolen Vehicle Assistance can
     help reduce dangerous high-speed chases and, of course, help return your vehicle in one piece. 
     Once a stolen vehicle has been located by an Advisor and law enforcement at the scene confirms the
     conditions are safe, OnStar can send a remote signal that gradually slows the vehicle to an idle
     speed.

Remote Ignition Block prevents the stolen vehicle form being restarted once the engine has been
     turned off

Remote Door Unlock At one time, everyone's locked their keys in the car.  With OnStar, just call
     1.888.4.ONSTAR and an Advisor will quickly send a remote signal that can unlock your car in
     minutes.

Remote Horn and Lights - If you ever have trouble finding your vehicle in a sea of others, you can call

Vehicle Diagnostics
OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics Every month we automatically run hundreds of diagnostic checks on key
     operating systems like the engine, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control, antilock brakes and air
     bags.  Then we deliver an easy-to-understand report right to your inbox.  A green icon next to a
     system means no issues were found.  A yellow icon tells you action is suggested, and a red icon
     means immediate attention is needed.

On-Demand Diagnostics It's never a good time to have a light flashing on your dashboard, but it helps
     when you can get quick answers.  Just push the blue OnStar button and request an On-Demand
     Diagnostics check.  Within minutes, the check can tell the Advisor the cause of the warning light,
     and you will be connected to the nearest dealership or service center.  Confidence restored.

The value of OnStar OnStar vehicle Diagnostics can also help you maintain your engine, emissions system and tire pressure and tell you when to get your oil changed.  Properly inflated ties and a correctly tuned engine can improve fuel economy by as much as 7% or up to 20 cents per gallon.  And you may not need to change your oil every 3,000 miles.  With GM vehicles averaging 8,500 miles between changes, you could cut your oil change expenses by 50% - saving time and money
